Welcome to Donegal Garden Trail 2024. Our beautiful parks and gardens offer visitors a delightful and unique experience of the magical Donegal environment. At 17 locations throughout the County you are welcome to explore parks and gardens, some open to visitors all year round, others with regular spring, summer and autumn opening . Glenveagh National Park

Romantic Victorian era Castle and Gardens surrounded by spectacular landscape, the centre piece of Glenveagh National Park - open to the public every day of the year. Managed by National Parks and Wildlife Service

 

Oakfield Park

Parkland garden, with an award winning walled garden, lakeside Nymphaeum, hedge maze and many garden sculptures. The crowning glory is a 4.5km narrow-gauge railway operating daily rounds of the woodlands, flower meadows and lakeside Castle.

 

St Columbs

Early 19th century period house, built as a Glebe for the Church of Ireland, gardens open to the public every day of the year. Managed by the Office of Public Works as Glebe Gallery.
