Lower Cranny

Romantically set in the former grounds of Drumbeg House, the garden contains some of the early landscape features from the old estate, namely the lake and tree lined driveway - now a scenic walk connecting the more ornamental section of the garden with the meadow. This a wonderful location for the biodiversity of Donegal’s wild flora and fauna. The bluebell wood has an insect hotel, there’s a stream, a wild bee hive, a dam, a birch grove, sweeping perennial flower beds and a “mixed” hedge fairy ring all blending into the naturalistic setting.
